Small Business Development Panel Discussion

Julie Clowes will present an overview of the SBA and the programs available to small businesses through the organization.

Vikran Mathur will discuss the overall Michigan Small Business Development Center program and how the Center program can assist business on International Trade.

Sandra Gilman will introduce the Mich Tech Center program, especially in special government contract and State of Michigan Program.

Grace Lee, CFO, Logic Solution, Inc.

Grace Lee is currently the CFO at Logic Solutions. Grace oversees Logics accounting/finance, legal, and human resources activities. She has more than 16 years experience in both public and corporate accounting.  

In addition, Grace Lee has devoted many of her time to help the development of entrepreneurship in Southeast Michigan area. She serves at various business organizations such as Treasurer for Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce; PR/Communication Chair for MIT Enterprise Forum of the Great Lakes; Event Chair for Michigan High Growth CEO Forum. 

Grace Lee holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.

She is a bilingual CPA and fluent in English and Chinese (both Mandarin and Taiwanese).

Manya Arnold-Thomas brings over 2 decades of experience in human and systems development to her work as an executive coach, consultant, trainer, and facilitator. Trained initially as a physician, her coaching approach offers a powerful perspective on the integration of individual performance, personal development and well being with business results.

Manya holds a B.A. from Harvard in Social Relations and Human Behavior, an M.D. from the University of Massachusetts, with post-graduate medical training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry from Brown University and the University of Michigan. She is a Certified Business Coach, and is working on Master Business Coach certification and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the International Consortia of Business Coaches.
