(CDNX: YSI) announced today that its subsidiary Vistar Telecommunications Inc. has signed a multi-year agreement with Ciecersat which is part of Grupo Ceicer of Mexico City. Under the terms of the agreement, Ciecersat will become the exclusive provider of Vistars unique GlobalWave wireless packet data system throughout Mexico and Central America. Initially valued at Cdn $5.8 million, the agreement calls for the provision of a turnkey GlobalWave wireless packet data system to Ciecersat. In addition, Vistar will be the exclusive supplier of GlobalWave low cost, wireless data communicators to Ciecersat as they roll out the service across Mexico and Central America. Vistar will also receive an airtime royalty as new customers are added to Ciecers network.
