(Cancom) Sign GlobalWave Distribution Agreement Herndon, VA --- ..Vistar Datacom and the Tracking Division of Cancom today announced the signing of a Value Add Reseller (VAR) Agreement. Under the terms of the Agreement Cancom will provide Vistars GlobalWave asset management and tracking solution to the long-haul trucking industry throughout North America. Dave Sward, General Manager of Vistar Datacom, notes Cancoms strong position in the Canadian market where there are approximately 600,000 trailers in use: Cancom currently serves over 90% of the Canadian mobile communications market place for long-haul trucks. Our GlobalWave system is based on the same geosynchronous satellite technology as Cancoms in-cab messaging solution. Together they present a powerful end-to-end communications solution for the trucking industry. Cancom is committed to providing our customers with the most advanced and effective products for mobile communications and tracking.
