Informationon the following items is held in school and is available for parents to readon the premises by request:
1.The Governingbody's statement of curriculum aims.
3.Schemes ofwork used in school.
4.Arrangementsfor the consideration of complaints.
5. The last Annual Parents'report from the Governing Body
Westrongly urge you not to take your child out of school for holidays during termtime.
Thisis extremely disruptive to the continuity of his/her education and manychildren have difficulty re-adjusting to school after an extra holiday.
Weare unable to guarantee that any work missed will be made up when the childreturns and this can obviously affect test results as well as overall progress.
Teacherscannot set special work for individual children to take on holiday.
Ifyou really have no alternative to a school-time holiday, please ask at theoffice for a holiday form. The officialruling is that any holiday in term time should be no longer than two weeksduration.
Theschool has a flourishing parents' association, the Friends of Jotmans Hall, which holds regular social and fund raising events and provides a great deal ofsupport for the school.
Allparents automatically become members of the association and you will be invitedto the Annual General Meeting. We hope that you will be able to support thegood work already achieved by the association, which benefits every child inthe school.
