Spare receivers and replacement equipment are mounted and available for immediate use on all receiver types. Each spare receiver can be powered up and ready for use in less than one minute. In case of a telephone company line outage, we have the ability to "Ultra Call Forward" any receiver line to one of its back-ups. The facility is constructed of materials designed to withstand a fire in the outer building for two hours. To prevent intrusion, individuals entering the Central Station must enter a "mantrap" through a secured, attack-proof door. When in the "mantrap," the first door must be closed before the second door can be opened. Both doors are controlled by restricted card access and secured with magnetic locks.
