Again, toggles should be nearest the bottom of the garage door as seen in figure C. 5. Knot ends of each elastic cord (figure B). 6. Loop elastic cords around toggles from front to back, making sure to run the cord beneath the garage door (figure C). Adjust elastic cords to desired tautness. Your door dcor is secured! We suggest storing the door decorations in their original poly bags away from extreme heat and sun. Velcro tapes that are affixed to garage doors may be left on for future usage or may be removed from garage door surfaces. We suggest non-toxic cleaners such as De-Solv-It or Goo-Gone. Other useful solvents include WD-40 and Goof-Off. Most of these products can be purchased at major chain stores such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot and Ace Hardware Stores. Removal: Saturate the adhesive strip and allow the solvent to sit 5-10 minutes. Lifting the edge of the strip carefully, slowly peel it back. In most cases, the strips will peel off easily with little to no residue. If residue or persistent adhesive is present, re-saturate the area and try again.
