Non-Competitive Division
Any group may choose to perform for "Comments Only" or "Ratings Only. " There is no placement or ranking in this division as emphasis is on positive reinforcement of those skills necessary to produce an outstanding musical ensemble. While the judges will score groups for "Rating" purposes, these scores will not be given out to anyone, they are for administrative purposes only. Non-competitive groups will also receive both written and taped comments from the adjudicators.

Notes:
• If you are entering more than one concert event, the" Second" will be in one classification lower than the" First, " while the "Third" must be entered in Novice Class or Non-Competitive Division. In order to be fair to the lower divisions, performing members of the "Second" or "Third" entry should not be members of the "First" or "Second" unless they are regularly scheduled members of that group and constitute a minority percentage.

• Any group (other than Novice) may elect to participate in a higher class upon written notice received four weeks prior to the performance date. There will be no classification changes once the schedule is distributed.

• Chamber Choirs must consist of mixed voices and not exceed 24 performers.

• If there are more than 12 groups competing in the same Open Class Category, that category will be divided in two (Class A & AA) based on school enrollment. Trophies will be awarded in both categories.
